The problem

A small operator has two choices today. Both are bad.

Enterprise EHS software
~$15K–25K / yr
and you're still the one running it.

Built for companies far bigger than yours, and priced like it. Figure that range once you've sat through a sales cycle to get an actual quote. Expect a months-long rollout, one-size-fits-most forms you reshape to sort-of fit how you work, and a bill that climbs with every seat and site you add. It's enterprise overhead for problems you don't have.

Paper or form-builder duct tape
Cheap.
until someone asks for proof.

Paper JSAs in a binder, a cert tracker in Excel, inspection photos scattered across phones. Nothing's organized and nothing's linked, so the record only exists if someone kept it. When OSHA or a client wants proof, you're the search engine, digging through binders, drives, and inboxes to rebuild what a real system would surface in one click.

The solution

I build it. You run it. It evolves as you evolve.

I Build It

A safety suite built around your operation: your sites, your fleet, your forms, your rules. Not a template you bend to fit.

  • Custom JSAs & permits
  • OSHA 300 / 300A / 301 ready
  • Mobile field forms
  • Your branding, your own site

You Run It

I teach your safety lead to run the whole thing, end to end. They own the program. No outside consultant needed to use your own system.

  • Supervisor onboarding
  • Field-team walkthroughs
  • Admin training
  • Documentation library

It Evolves With You

New site, new client, new regulation: your suite changes to match, usually within a week. No procurement cycle, no support ticket aging in a queue behind bigger customers. The tools keep evolving with your operation instead of freezing on the day they went live.

  • Ongoing customization
  • New form & workflow builds
  • Technical advisory

Built around your operation

Customization isn't an upgrade. It's the default.

F&H STAC isn't a product you adapt to. It's a suite I build around you: your sites, your fleet, your forms, your compliance. One foundation. A different build for every client.

Why size is the feature

Big EHS vendors build for the average customer: a 200-person company in an industry they don't know. That's why the forms feel generic. F&H STAC builds for you: one operation, one suite, a direct line to the person who built it. Small isn't a limitation. It's the whole point.

Everything connected

Enter it once. It shows up everywhere.

Your modules aren't separate apps stitched together. They share one set of records. Enter something once, and it flows into every form that needs it. Log an incident: the people, the site, the equipment all land in your OSHA logs, the investigation, the corrective actions. Automatically. No retyping the same details into five forms. Less busywork, fewer mistakes, nothing slipping through the cracks.

One incident, every record

File an incident once. The system checks OSHA recordability, fills your official 301 and 300 / 300A logs, drafts a full corrective-and-preventive action plan, and moves your executive TRIR / DART, done for you, not retyped.

One crew, every form

Add a worker once. They're everywhere they need to be: JSAs, permits, certification tracking, contractor records. No duplicate profiles.

One failed check, one fix

A failed inspection opens a corrective action on its own, assigned, tracked, closed. Nothing dies in a binder.

Executive dashboard

See the whole program at a glance.

One view, built for whoever owns safety. See what's being used, who's keeping up, and what's overdue, at a glance. Plus the numbers that matter: incident trends, open corrective actions, certifications coming due. Scattered field activity becomes proof the program works, and a warning the moment it doesn't.

What leadership can see

Module usage and adoption, by person and by crew · Form and inspection completion rates · Overdue and at-risk items · Incident and injury trends · TRIR / DART · Open corrective actions · Certifications coming due. Real oversight, without chasing people for paperwork.

Beyond paper & PDFs

Forms that do what paper can't.

Digitizing a JSA is the easy part. These are the parts that actually change how the field works.

Forms that guide the work

A paper form can't stop a crew from skipping a box or scrawling something no one can read. Yours has your rules built in: the right fields appear for the job in front of them, required steps can't be skipped, and ratings and totals calculate as the crew goes. Sign off on the glass with a fingertip. What comes back is complete, legible, and audit-ready every time.

Field inputs paper can't hold

Not just boxes on a screen. The kind of input a clipboard never could hold:

  • Tap-to-mark body diagrams: show exactly where an injury happened, not a guess from a written description
  • Photos taken and marked up on the spot, auto-stamped with date, time, and location
  • Crew, sites & equipment pulled from your own records: pick from a list, so names and IDs are always right

Built to survive the field

Engineered offline-first. A JSA filled in a dead zone is saved on the device and syncs the moment you're back in service. Nothing lost, even at one bar.

F&H vs. the field

How I stack up against everything else.

These are the tools you're most likely weighing me against. Most are excellent, for big companies with big budgets. Below are the rows that decide it for a small Bakken operation. Marked honestly, including where I don't compete.

Customization retainer kicks in. New sites, clients, regulations: updates within a week.

Pricing at a glance

Three components. Two support tiers.

Founding Operator · limited to my first operators
$4,500 one-time

Your build, started. Live in about two weeks.

Not a trial: the first working piece of your suite. Your daily field forms go live on your own branded site (the JSAs your crew fills every shift), alongside the Incident → OSHA 301 / 300 → CAPA cascade: one entry fills your official 301 and 300 / 300A and drafts the corrective action. That’s your audit safety net: quiet on the good days, everything on the day it counts. The entire $4,500 credits toward your full build if you move ahead within 90 days, so starting here costs you nothing extra. Founding operators lock in today’s rates and become my first reference clients.

Custom build
From $25,000

Custom HSE suite built around your operation: discovery, configuration, training, and deployment to your own branded site. Scoped to the forms and processes you need digitized and interlinked. 50% at signing, 50% at go-live.

Suite license
$7,200 / yr

Hosted suite, infrastructure, security, updates. Paid annually upfront.

Support retainer
$600–1,500 / mo

Evolution: $1,500/mo. Active partnership: new modules and form builds, ongoing customization, priority technical advisory, direct access to the developer, first look at every new feature.

Maintenance: $600/mo. For operators who are dialed in: hosting oversight, security patching, regulatory updates to your existing forms, and support when you need it. Step up to Evolution anytime. 12-month minimum.

First-year total · typical small operator
From $39,400 USD

The one-time build plus your first year of license and support. After that, ongoing cost is $14,400–$25,200/yr depending on tier, the same range as enterprise EHS licensing alone, except this suite is built around your operation, the developer stays on call, and your crew and sites never raise the price.

The upfront looks higher, but over time it isn't

Enterprise costs $0 to start, then bills you forever: more every year as you add crew and sites, for a tool you never own. Your build is one time, for a suite that's yours and priced flat as you grow. Do the two-year math and the “no upfront” option is the expensive one.

Deliberately limited

I take on only a handful of operators a year, by design. A capped roster is how you get changes in days, a developer who knows your build cold, and support that never sits behind a queue. Scale is the enterprise's problem, not yours.

Modern architecture

Installs in 15 seconds. Works offline. Updates silently.

F&H STAC is a Progressive Web App (PWA): the same technology behind Starbucks, Spotify, BMW, Uber, and the Washington Post. It installs to any phone's home screen straight from a text. No App Store. No IT approval. No waiting.

Native apps & legacy EHSF&H STAC (PWA)
Install methodApp Store / Google Play. Search, download, account creation, permissions: 4–6 minutes per crew member.I text you a link. Open it, tap Install App. That's it. ~15 seconds.
Update cycleVendor pushes update → Apple/Google review (days–weeks) → users prompted → some never do.Push to server → next launch on every crew phone has the new version. No prompts, no skipped versions.
IT departmentRequires MDM profiles, sideload policies, version approvals. Procurement & IT involvement.Installs the same way as Outlook Web or Salesforce. No IT approval needed.
Offline in the fieldLimited offline mode. Many features require connection.Full offline. Complete JSAs, take photos, log incidents on a remote pad with no signal. Auto-syncs back in service.
Per-client brandingOne-size-fits-all app. Vendor's logo, colors, forms. Custom variants impossible inside the App Store.Your logo, your color scheme, your operator-specific rule sets, your own branded site. Deployed in days.
Data ownershipApp Store account ties data to vendor's identity layer. Migration off = manual export + start over.Full data export to CSV/JSON anytime, no fees. Written into contract.
The tradeoff I'm making

No App Store badge. Everything else, yes. I could have built native iOS and Android apps just to show an App Store logo. I didn't. That path means slower updates, no per-client customization, IT friction, longer installs, and a higher price to cover the overhead. I chose modern architecture instead, and that's why you get custom, operator-specific tools at this price.

Data security & infrastructure

Your records, protected by infrastructure that protects theirs.

Your HSE data is sensitive: employee records, incident reports, contractor info. So I build on Supabase, the same SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001-certified infrastructure that companies like Mozilla, GitHub, PwC, Johnson & Johnson, and 1Password run on.

Who's behind it

You work with the person who builds your tools.

F&H STAC is built and run by Bryant Price, its founder and HSE systems architect. I build your suite, train your team, and handle support myself, so you always deal directly with the person who knows your system.

I came up to North Dakota in the winter of 2018 and worked four years as a field operator, one year as a field assistant manager, and two years as HSE Manager, all with the same company.

Seven years from the field to the safety office taught me the same lesson over and over: a company can have every program in place and still be exposed, because when its data isn't stored, retrievable, and organized, none of it counts the moment OSHA asks to see it. That gap is what F&H STAC closes. It isn't a filing cabinet; it's the system your whole safety program runs on, and keeping your documentation organized and audit-ready falls out of simply doing the work.
